David joined the Practice in September 2000 as Assistant Project Manager, following the completion of his studies at Reading University, where he specialised in Planning and Development.

David has also had previous experience with Rushmoor Borough Council in the Planning Policy Department and assisted with a variety of tasks, including Local Plan Inquiries and a number of research projects.

Since joining the Practice, David has developed his planning skills through involvement and management of a wide variety of project work, including: undertaking preliminary development appraisals, Development Plan monitoring, strategic settlement appraisals and sustainability audits, the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals, and was elected as a member of the RTPI in November 2002.

David has been promoted to Associate and is responsible for managing other staff on a range of multidisciplinary projects. His experience includes strategic land promotions including involvement in the RSS and LDF process. David has also appeared as Expert Witness in relation to a number of S.78 Inquiries, Informal Hearings and Local Plan Inquiries.
